WATER TREATMENT PLANT-GASOLINE-RAINMAN

GASOLINE POTABILIZER (FULLY AUTONOMOUS AND PORTABLE)

PRESENTATION

The water treatment plant that was originally created was our gasoline system. In 2014, our first version of this system had the industry asking, "Why didn't anyone think of a portable watermaker before this?"

This system does not require an external power source, as long as it has fuel. It's ideal if you don't have a generator and need to conserve batteries.

Not relying on external power provides maximum flexibility to bring it ashore, loan it, or use it in emergency situations.

A WATER TREATMENT PLANT WITH ONLY 2 COMPONENTS

The system is comprised solely of a Pressure Supply Unit (PSU) and a Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit.

Both parts are necessary to assemble an entire water treatment plant. The feed pump lifts the seawater, filters sediment and puts the system under high pressure, while the reverse osmosis unit draws fresh water from the pressurized seawater flow.

Most of the water is wasted as brine output, while approximately 20% of the volume is withdrawn as drinking water for its reservoirs.

There are different membrane options for you to select with your system, each to achieve its own specific goal.

ENERGY

The heart of this system is the Honda GXH50 2.1HP engine, which is the same one used in the manufacture of Honda 1kVA generators.

It incorporates a tensioned belt drive system, in which the motor drives both a seawater lift pump and the main high pressure pump.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 700 ml and will run for about 70 minutes, depending on the quality of the fuel.

BENEFITS OF THE GASOLINE SYSTEM

Gasoline exists in most boats, either through the propellant motors or by having an outboard for the auxiliary. So there's a good reason why you might want to consider using it to power your watermaker. Some of the key benefits of using a separate motor for your watermaker include:

Simplicity: for a portable setup, just two elements need to be attached and no external power is needed.

· Redundancy: if your generator/inverter fails, it could still produce water.

· Efficiency: There are no energy conversion losses between mechanical and electrical. Depending on the temperature and salinity of the seawater, a water/fuel production ratio of approximately 150:1 would be expected.

MEMBRANE OPTIONS

You have three options available for your reverse osmosis unit (MEMBRANES), depending on your water requirements, available space, and budget.

All three options are compatible with the fuel pressure unit and are available with protective cases (housing).

Fuel consumption and sound levels for the power supply are the same regardless of which reverse osmosis unit is connected, so most customers will choose the high performance reverse osmosis unit to get the most of water as quickly as possible.
